Psalm 23 (as Written by the children of ABC on April 30, 2023)
The Lord is my friend, mother, father, nana, papa
God, you lead me home for hugs, and to fun times like hotels with family.
Lord, you make me feel good, heard, joyful and nice.
Though there are dark times in my life, like when people we love die, fights with friends, when I skin my knees or when I break something
You help me by keeping people around me that love me and protect me
God, you set a table for me with my favourite things like noodles and sausage, ribs, pizza, The Hut, chickpea pea salad and ice cream
And you ask me to scoot over to make room and share with people like mom and dad, family, friends, people who believe in God, people who don't believe in God neighbours and people who need help
Because of you I will love other people, be kind, treat others how I want to be treated. Even though that doesn’t always happen, I know you will help me try my best.
God, I know you will be with me – always, for my whole life.
